Nicola Amati
Nicola Amati is Full professor at Politecnico di Torino, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Since December 2021 he is the Coordinator of the Center for Automotive Research and Sustainable Mobility – CARS@POLITO. He has the chair of the course of Dynamic Design of Machines and Driver Assistance System Design. His research expertise is in the field of mechatronic systems for automotive engineering and vehicle electrification. He is Author of more that 200 scientific papers and 15 patents.

Radu Bojoi
Radu Bojoi (IEEE Fellow), MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from Technical University of Iasi, Romania, in 1993, PhD in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in 2002. He is a Full Professor of Power electronics, Electrical Machines and Drives at the Energy Department “G. Ferraris”, and Chairman of the PEIC. Prof. Bojoi is involved in many research projects with industry for applying new technologies in multiple fields, such as industrial applications, transportation electrification, power generation and power quality.

Born in Genoa in 1959, here graduated in 1984, then short experience in Olivetti and from 1986 always in Fiat Auto with different roles in Engineering, Aftersales, Quality and Product. As Vehicle Line Executive I launched Punto rest, Ypsilon, Punto and Idea in 2003 and 4 models in China. Recently I was Head of EMEA Chassis and of Advanced BCI; from 2022 I am DG of CRF
BACKDavide Casini
Davide Casini graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and holds an Executive Master in Digital Transformation and Innovation. Since joining Italdesign in 1999, he has held various roles in body engineering, validation, and project management. In November 2021, he became the CTO of Italdesign.

Massimiliano Sallusti is a Mechanical Engineer specialized in vehicle dynamics and smart tyre technologies, graduated at Politecnico di Milano. He is leading the Algorithm Development team at Cyber Tyre Pirelli, developing advanced tyre and vehicle features that enable new solutions and services. He is inventor in two European granted patents and three European pending patents.

Davide Bisi
Renesas Electronics, GaN Power, Senior Member of Technical Staff, Program Manager
SESSION TALKDavide Bisi
Davide received a PhD degree on GaN devices from the University of Padova, Italy in 2015. In 2016, Davide joined Transphorm (now Renesas), accelerating the development of new GaN products towards their adoption into successful applications. Dr. Bisi has co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and has been awarded 6 Patents.
BACKGustaf Falk Olson
Gustaf received the M.Sc. degree from the Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, in 2016 and was awarded as Best Student of the Year. For three years, he was a field application engineer at Texas Instruments. In 2024, he concluded his Ph.D. in parameter estimation of multiphase electrical machines at KTH. Today, he works as an EMD computation engineer. at Volvo Cars.

Maurizio Cisternino
Electronic engineer experienced in propulsion control and electrification technologies, Maurizio Cisternino has led significant projects in the automotive sector. Since 2020, he’s the Head of the Control & Data Analytics at Dumarey Softronix. Previously, he held several roles at GM and Fiat GM Powertrain Advanced Engineering. His career began at CRF, focusing on vehicle electronic technologies.

PHD in Electrical Engineering in 2005 at the Politecnico di Torino he moved in General Motors Powertrain in 2006 mainly working in Controls Advance Engineering Department up 2018. After the company acquisition by the Dumarey Group he moved in the HW Electronic Design team of the subsidiary company Softronix.
BACKFabio Bernardi
Fabio Bernardi earned his master’s in automotive engineering at Politecnico di Torino in 2004. In 2005, he joined Marelli’s Motorsport R&D in Venaria as a HW Designer, focusing on F1 ECUs. Starting in 2006, he led the F1 KERS project, overseeing the electronic development of the traction inverter. Now, he heads the HW Electronic R&D, leading his team in designing electronics for motorsport
